Backyard DIY-er and Thrift Store Addict

Tips and products for vintage revival - how to decorate on a budget!

Hi everyone!  Thanks for coming to Thrifty Sister DIY.  I'm excited to share some tips and tricks with you to help you turn those hand-me down items into pieces that fit your style.  As a girl on a life-long budget I know how frustrating it may get feeling like you are living in someone else's home.  Yes, we are grateful for the free kitchen table (who isn't?!) but you want it to feel like your own.  If you are a fellow thrifty sister like myself, then join me on my creative journeys.  Subscribe to our blog and get started making your house a home!  And of course, saving those precious pennies.

I have been extremely fortunate and blessed to have a supportive (albeit crazy...) family whose favorite phrase seems to be, "pay it forward"!  So, that's why I'm here.  I am a full-time working mother of 2 AMAZING (and also crazy) kids.  Incorporating my two favorite inspirations, motherhood and DIY adventures, our blog finds a way to mesh both of these worlds!  As an outlet for my creativity and thrift store addiction I recently reopened my Etsy shop (RENEWED ARRAY).  where all of our items are reclaimed or handmade.  This just seemed a natural segue into the blogging world.  Why not share my ideas and pay it forward to others since I'm already going through the process of making these DIY items?

So, if you're a Pinterest lover, DIY-er, down-home, thrifty sister like myself, enjoy these DIY posts and create your own home décor that will have your friends amazed and best of all, NOT blow your budget!
